I’m currently working on 1.6, which will be mostly a bug fix update. I will be going through bug lists (including the great one on the Minecraft wiki) and fixing as many as I can. There’s no set date for the update yet as I don’t know how long it’ll take to go through the list.
You don’t have to wait for the mods to update. Like better light, it changes with the update automatically so you don’t have to wait for a mod update. I was talking to some people and they were mad that already existing mods were being put into the game, which kinda confuses me when people get mad about that. This is of course coming from someone who enjoys “vanilla” minecraft. Anyone else agree or am I just weird?
I also agree with this, shouldn’t this be more like a compliment? Like “Hey your thing is so AWESOME you are actually going to be a part of this game you love so much” I wish I wrote mods, so I could be a part of this awesome thing.
